MetaLine elastomeric coatings have up to 25% more erosion resistance than Duplex Steel (AISI 316)
MetaLine lasts up to 110x longer than traditional rubber linings, reducing downtime and conserving resources
MetaLine is a superior surface coating over other commonly used wear coatings, rubber liners, ceramic coatings, abrasive wear coatings and abrasion resistant coatings.

The MetaLine Series 700 compound is a solvent-free two-component elastomer. It can be used to coat almost any substrate including steel, brass, bronze, aluminum, concrete, rubber, wood and most plastics. It can even be reapplied over a previous coating.
Application can be carried out by spraying, injection, or casting. Because polymerization begins after 1 minute, application of the product to vertical surfaces (application thickness up to 20mm) does not result in sag. After curing 24h at 20°C, the coating is resistant to temperatures from -50°C to +120°C. Polymerization (curing) occurs without producing any tension.
In addition to its chemical adhesion properties, the MetaLine Series 700 elastomer develops additional mechanical adhesive properties (memory effect), pulling the coating against the substrate to increase the effective adhesion of the product.
Available in three hardness grades from Shore 60 A to Shore 95 A, the MetaLine Series 700 has even been assessed by the FDA as “food-safe”. The product has an erosion and cavitation resistance similar to high alloy steels and armors. At a density of only 1.05g/ml, it is the most lightweight duroplastic wear protection available. Also increases efficiency due to its non-stick properties by reducing friction.
The MetaLine Series 700 elastomer is applied using the MetaLine cartridge spray gun, based on low pressure spraying controlled pneumatically, the system requires a compressed air supply at 5 bar pressure with an approximate volume of 300 litres to function. Mixing of the two components happens during application, as they are atomized at the tip of the spray nozzle. This technique minimizes waste, as only the applied product is mixed. Open cartridges can be used again at a later date. The cartridge spray gun never comes into contact with the coating material and therefore never requires cleaning.
The MetaLine Series 700 elastomeric coating can be applied to numerous types of machinery in:
