About: Nigel is our pumps sales manager at head office in Adelaide. He has been with Global Pumps for 4 ½ years but has had 40 years sales experience, 30 years in Sales Management in a wide range of Industrial, Agricultural, Mining and Export Markets.
Fun Fact: Nigel has a keen interest in thoroughbred horse racing.
About: Darren was born and bred into the business and is passionate about making pumps last longer with less headaches. This flows right down through the organisation whether it be selecting the right type of pump or an alternative material to give the best return on investment.
Fun Fact: Darren loves family time and trying to perfect the art of Indian chicken curry!
About: Amos works at head office in Adelaide. He enjoys solving customers tough challenges, from selecting new pumps or troubleshooting existing installations.
Fun Fact: Amos has been with the business for 15 years!
About: Jim boasts over two decades of experience supplying industrial equipment and services to the infrastructure, oil & gas, and mining industries. His background in mechanical trades and extensive industry exposure have equipped him to assist customers in enhancing their businesses through creative, out-of-the-box solutions.
Fun Fact: Jim volunteers for the State Emergency Service and heads out for a fishing adventure whenever he can.
About: Mike is our technical consultant, based in Queensland. He has over 15 years’ experience in the industry, starting as an apprentice fitter & turner before moving over to pump management, sales and staff training, Mike offers a friendly-face and a wealth of knowledge.
Fun Fact: Michael is a qualified personal trainer as well as a nationally recognised strength and conditioning coach.
About: Jason is our account manager in South Australia. His 15 years’ experience in account management as well as his passion and commitment to solve tough challenges makes him well suited to help with any pumping needs.
Fun Fact: Jason purchased his very first car for $50 at age 12 and restored it with his father. A 1958 FC Holden Panel Van called “Barney” (it had holes in the floor like a Flintstone’s car) and still has it to this day.
About: Jerry has 16 years of Account Management experience in the construction, agricultural and mining industry. Absolutely enjoys making anyone he meets feel a little better about their day after spending some time together.
Fun Fact: He led the School Polynesian Dance Group with a Samoan Cultural Performance for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at age 9 when Her Majesty visited New Zealand
About: Evan is our account manager in Western Australia. He brings a friendly face, 15 years’ experience as an Account Manager and has a growing knowledge of pumps.
Fun Fact: Evan coaches 4 basketball teams and has an ever-expanding collection of Air Jordan shoes.
About: Craig is our account manager in Melbourne. He brings vast engineering and customer service experience to our team. He is always on the lookout for an opportunity to get away from his computer screen.
Fun Fact: Craig’s hidden talent is balloon animals!
About: Pravin works in our Adelaide head office an Internal Sales Consultant and has been for 10 years. He has more than 30 years of industrial experience in the chemical, steel, and infrastructure industries as a Mechanical Engineer.
Fun Fact: He drives the plastic recycling initiative in our office to help save the environment.
About: Caz is based in our head office in Adelaide. She works closely with clients ensuring jobs run smoothly and on time. Everyone in the team knows that Caz is the go-to if you need to get something done yesterday.
Fun Fact: She enjoys going on adventures with her 1-year-old German Shepherd ‘Murphy’.
About: Denzil is one of our Sales Consultants based in our NSW office. With 4 years’ experience in sales, customer service and marketing, Denzil also has a large interest in all things pumps and business. He is happy to assist you with any questions or pump requirements.
Fun Fact: He spends most of his weekends working in the garden (much to the team’s amusement) and likes to keep active with a range of outdoor activities.
About: Juan is a Mechanical Engineer with over 7 years’ experience in the industry. He started as Application Engineer in pumping systems for the oil & gas industry in Colombia and then moved to Australia. He enjoys helping customers with any technical enquiries as well as solving tough pumping challenges.
Fun Fact: He used to play roller skate hockey and represented his state in a couple of tournaments in Colombia.
About: Manjeet has been with the business for 14 years and has spearheaded pump exports to Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Laos, Senegal, Mexico, Ivory Coast, Indonesia amongst other countries. He is an expert at sending pumps all around the globe.
Fun Fact: Destiny has brought Manjeet back to the Mitsubishi site where he had previously worked as an engineer for many years.
About: Jai has joined our team as the Junior Accounts Manager, contributing his skills to support our interstate colleagues. With a background in customer service and sales in the oil & gas industry, he has assisted major "Drilling Groups" in achieving their goals.
Fun Fact: Outside of work, Jai is a coach for the U15's football team at his local club, where he actively helps younger individuals realise their full potential.
About: Ken brings a wealth of experience spanning 14 years in various industries. He began with water treatment servicing and design & construction projects, transitioned to spill control product wholesaling, eventually taking charge of in-house manufacturing of LED products for the food & beverage and mining sectors.
Fun Fact: Ken has a passion for bushwalks, particularly in remote, untouched areas.
About: Meet Mahmood, our NSW-based Project Sales Consultant dedicated to the mining industry. Boasting 24 years of expertise in sales, business development, and project & operations management, Mahmood has spent the past 9 years navigating the ever-evolving world of pumps.
