Verderflex to Exhibit at ACHEMA 2015

Verderflex to launch two new peristaltic hose pumps, the Vantage 5000 and Steptronic range, at ACHEMA 2015

Manufacturer of the world famous “green peristaltic pump”, Verderflex, along with its German distributor, Verder Deutschland GmbH will be launching their new Vantage 5000 peristaltic pump and Steptronic range of pumps at ACHEMA 2015 in Frankfurt, Germany from June 15 to June 19, 2015. Their booth will be in Hall 8, Stand B27. For complimentary tickets to visit ACHEMA, contact Verder at 'info at verderflex.com'. ACHEMA is a leading tradeshow for process industries, aimed at highlighting process requirements in chemical engineering, waste water management and process analytical technologies.

The Verderflex Vantage 5000, a brand new cased tube pump, is designed to offer greater levels of dosing accuracy at high pressure, especially when discharge pressures approach 7 bar (100psi). Other design features incorporated to improve functionality include 12-bit resolution, 4000:1 turn down ratio, interactive touch screen, WiFi, ethernet, profinet and profibus connectivity as well as modbus remote signalling, monitoring and control options. The Vantage 5000 has a maximum flow rate of 4 litres per minute and a maximum discharge pressure of 7 bar.

Another newcomer to the Verderflex family is the Steptronic range of cased tube pumps, designed to operate as stand-alone OEM units or as panel mounted pumps. They have an accurate, high-resolution, internal stepper drive that is ideal when deployed for continuous duty applications or multi-cycle OEM functions. With flow rates from 0.1 ml per minute up to 1.31 litres per minute, a 4000:1 turn down ratio, and multiple power (both AC and DC) options, these units are extremely flexible and can be controlled by remote with digital, analogue or HMI signals using either 4-20mA or 0-10V signalling inputs.

As well as these two new hose pumps, Verderflex will have an extensive selection of pumps from their impressive array of pump technologies on hand at ACHEMA. Other peristaltic pumps include the Dura 5 and Dura 7, delivering low dosing rates at high pressures. These pumps dose accurately at sub litre per hour flow at between 5 and 8 bar. These robust hose pumps offer excellent secondary containment and are available with many different inserts, depending on the chemical compatibility required. They offer a maximum dosing rate of 39 litres per hour and a maximum discharge pressure of 8 bar. Another peristaltic pump in the lineup is the Dura55, the leader in next-generation, industrial, medium-flow format hose pumps. It delivers more volume per revolution than any of its competitors, at a maximum flow rate of 15 cubic metres per hour and a maximum discharge pressure of 16 bar. Just two of the many included features are stalled rotor protection and Verder’s patented easy change hose connection.

At the other end of the size spectrum are Verderflex’s VP dosing pumps with in-built controls and many accessories to complete your dosing needs. The Verderflex VP range of pumps is commonly used in the chemical, medial, and pharmaceutical industries, laboratory analysis, swimming pool maintenance and cleaning/hygiene applications. These pumps are small, with integrated timers and applications such as pH and redox control.

In addition to the large collection of peristaltic pumps at ACHEMA, Verderflex will also be displaying the Verderhus screw centrifugal pumps. They offer advantages of both positive displacement and centrifugal pumps, ideal for low head, high flow pumping. Verderhus screw centrifugal pumps have a large clearance, with an open, screw impeller that feeds the process fluid into the pump chamber and transferring it efficiently to the discharge. The open design allows fluids with up to 30% solids to be pumped, while the screw is optimal for high viscosity fluids. The combination produces a pump with incredibly high efficiency, low NPSHR with low energy use giving it a low total cost of ownership. Typically the Verderhus centrifugal screw pumps are used in sludge and slurry transfer in biowaste energy plants, in the food and beverage industry pumping delicate bioslurries in beer production, construction, mining, paper/pulp production, petfood processing and waste water treatment. Available in models with flow rates up to 1,500 cubic metres per hour and maximal discharge pressure of 5.4 bar.

Diaphragm pumps are another technology where Verder excels and those seeking diaphragm pumps at ACHEMA will not be disappointed as Verder will have a collection of diaphragm pumps on hand. The Verderair VA double diaphragm pumps are manufactured in many different materials. These pumps deliver flow rates up to 1200 litres per minute and have maximal pressure ratings of 8.6 bar. Their over-engineered design ensures a long lived, highly robust, pump with low maintenance costs and low downtime. All of Verderair’s diaphragm pumps have non-icing, non-stalling air valves. The Verderair PURE series of diaphragm pumps are machined form a single block of PE or PTFE to provide fewer material stress points and offer increased robustness in heavy-duty operation. Conductive models are available for ATEX environments. Verder also offers a full range of accessories such as pulse dampeners and barrier systems. The PURE models offer flow rates up to 660 litres per minute and maximal pressure of 7 bar. The HI-CLEAN series of diaphragm pumps are made of food grade and food safe polished diaphragm pumps. The materials used in these pumps that are food-grade or food safe conform to directives from the EC, FDA and 3A. The pumps are available with several types of standard connections used in the food and beverage industry, either the clover tri-clamp or DIN 11851. These pumps are self-priming and feature CIP, SIP and are strip cleanable. They have a maximal flow rate of 606 litres per minute and a maximal discharge pressure of 8 bar.
