CONDUCTIVE POLYPROPYLENE DOUBLE DIAPHRAGM PUMP

Conductive Diaphragm Pumps

If you are pumping flammable liquids or chemicals, it is best to use a groundable pump. Sometimes a metal is not the best option for the liquid or chemical being pumped and you have to choose a conductive polypropylene double diaphragm pump.

How can a plastic pump be conductive?

The Verderair diaphragm pumps contain a conductive additive, this makes the wetted parts conductive. You can then pump flammable liquids knowing this pump is safe from causing fire.

Air Operated Diaphragm Pump Features

  • Self-priming. Can self-prime from dry
  • Can run dry without damage

What brand do I choose?

Verderair is a reliable brand backed by a company with over 40 years experience.  Not only do the Verderair pumps come with many benefits such as efficient pumping but have a 5 year guarantee.

Tips for Using Conductive Polypropylene Pumps

When using a conductive (acetal or polypropylene) air operated diaphragm pump, it is best practice to use conductive hoses on both the suction and discharge. This will prevent an unwanted static charge build up.

It is still advised to attach a ground wire to the grounding screw on the pump which grounds the wetted parts.
