Corrosion resistant pumps: Pumping chemicals with Verderair

Constructed for the harshest of chemicals, the Verderair double diaphragm pumps are corrosion resistant pumps commonly found in the chemical industry for the transfer and pumping of highly concentrated chemicals.

For the most severe and corrosive applications, the Verderair Pure series non-metallic pump range is suitable. All wetted parts are made of engineered plastics and high-grade ceramics, meaning they are a corrosion resistant pump. The Pure non-metallic diaphragm pumps consist entirely of PTFE and PE and are meticulously machined to enhance their leak-proof properties, with no metal components present.

Corrosion resistant pump applications

The Verderair AOD pumps have been used in the following chemical applications:

  • Pumping battery fluids for the recycling of old batteries
  • Dosing of concentrated NaOH (Sodium hydroxide) in a production cell of CIP fluids
  • Pumping sulfuric acid from electrolysis baths when purifying precious metals
  • Pumping lye and sludge from galvanic baths in semiconductor industry
  • Etching baths in galvanic industries

Global Pumps is the Australian distributor of Verderair double diaphragm pumps for transferring concentrated chemicals. For the toughest applications, the Verderair Pure series non-metallic chemical pumps offer corrosion resistance and leak-proof properties. Our Verderair AOD pumps have been successfully used in diverse chemical applications, such as battery fluid recycling and semiconductor etching.
